The Chandrapur District Central Co-operative Bank Limited is registered under the Maharashtra State Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 on 8th November 1985, The area of operation for the Bank is confined to geographical limit of Chandrapur District only. During the financial year ended 31st March, 2015, the Bank was operating through a network of 93 Branches (including 11 Pay Offices) with Head Office at Chandrapur. Bank is having its own Data Centre and Disaster Recovery Site. At present the total deposit amount reaches to 1785.51 crores and the total loan amount disbursed reaches up to 1119.71 crores.
Chandrapur district comprises 15 talukas, namely Chandrapur, Ballarpur, Rajura, Bhadrawati, Warora, Chimur, Nagbhir, Bramhapuri, Sindewahi, Mul, Saoli, Gondpipri, Korpana, Pombhurna and Jiwati.
It gives us the immense pleasure to tell our Bank has completed 103 glorious years successfully and are stepping ahead positively.
The Bank is mainly involved in the agricultural financing and government fund distributions. Apart from it bank is also functioning in the area of consumer lending and corporate lending which contributes more than 45% of the bank’s total assets, and by number of locations. As per the earlier guideline through RBI, the bank was restricted to operate within the district. Being a Class A Bank and recent Audit by RBI , bank is allowed to operate in multiple districts across entire state.
Even in this competitive world the bank has not only maintained its good position but also enhance its growth at all levels. The Bank is facing the competition from nationalized Banks, private sector banks and also from Urban banks, but the CDCC Bank has proved its standard and healthy banking atmosphere.
Reserve bank of India had given permission to do banking business through license no RPCD.NAG.DCCB/L/03 in 2009.this license was renewed on March 5, 2012 with license no RPCD.NAG.DCCB/L/09 .
